Peacebloom and Silverleaf in WoW Forever: The First Herbs
Peacebloom, Silverleaf and Earthroot priced from WoW Forever beta scans, every recipe that uses them, the new Incense Candle, and when to sell raw.
Lowest buyout from player scans of the WoW Forever beta Auction House, as of beta build 70291. Beta prices are a testing economy and will not carry over to launch. Last verified
The short answer
Peacebloom, Silverleaf and Earthroot are the three herbs every new herbalist picks in WoW Forever, and on the beta they are worth pennies each but sell for well above their vendor price. The latest player scans put Peacebloom at 15 copper, Silverleaf at 11 copper and Earthroot at 35 copper. Peacebloom is the one to care about: it appears in more recipes than the other two, and the new Forever recipes lean on it hardest. Sell Silverleaf raw, keep a stack of Peacebloom for an alchemist or a cook, and never send any of the three to a vendor.
What the client says about the three herbs
We read the Forever beta client directly, so this section is game data, not memory of Classic. Peacebloom and Silverleaf both vendor for 10 copper. Earthroot vendors for 20 copper. All three are common quality, all three stack, and all three show up in Alchemy before anything else does.
The bigger story is how many recipes now want them. In Classic Era these were mostly early Alchemy fodder. Our extract of the Forever profession tables shows four different professions reaching for Peacebloom, and seven of its thirteen recipes are new to Forever. That is a real change to who buys the herb.
| Herb | Recipes using it | New in Forever | Professions | Units used if each recipe is crafted once |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Peacebloom | 13 | 7 | Alchemy 10, Cooking 1, First Aid 1, Herbalism 1 | 14 |
| Silverleaf | 8 | 5 | Alchemy 7, Herbalism 1 | 9 |
| Earthroot | 9 | 4 | Alchemy 9 | 14 |
Read the last column carefully. Earthroot ties Peacebloom on units because several Earthroot recipes take two at a time, even though it appears in fewer recipes. Silverleaf trails on both measures, which matches its low scan price.
Every recipe that uses them
Here is every recipe in our extract that uses Peacebloom or Silverleaf, plus every Earthroot recipe that starts below skill 95, sorted by skill range. The product price is the latest beta scan, so you can see at a glance which crafts sell above their reagents and which are pure skill-ups.

A few lines in that table deserve a closer look.
- Minor Healing Potion sits under First Aid in the Forever extract. It takes an Empty Vial, Mild Spices and one Peacebloom. In Classic this potion belonged to Alchemy. We report what the beta tables say; if that moves before launch, this page will move with it.
- Peace Tea is a new Cooking recipe that takes two Peacebloom and a Refreshing Spring Water. It is the single biggest Peacebloom sink per craft, and on the beta it sold for several times its reagent cost.
- Mana Well and Minor Arcane Elixir are new one-herb Alchemy recipes in the first 25 points. They will soak up Peacebloom in the first hour of launch, when every new alchemist is trying to get off skill 1.
The extract also lists higher Earthroot recipes that sit outside the starter band: Lesser Frenzy Potion (new, 95 to 100, with Briarthorn), Draught of Tongues (new, 100 to 140, with Mageroyal; our build 70124 extract does not resolve its product item yet), Elixir of Giant Growth (120 to 160, with a Deviate Fish) and Elixir of Ogre Strength (175 to 215, with Kingsblood). That long tail is why Earthroot holds value a little longer than the other two.
The number that matters: who pays for the potion
Here is a piece of arithmetic we have not seen anywhere else. Take the most common early Alchemy recipe that uses two starter herbs, Elixir of Minor Defense: one Peacebloom, one Silverleaf and one Empty Vial. On 2026-10-08 our tables priced that bill at 59 copper: Peacebloom 30 copper, Silverleaf 14 copper and the vial 15 copper. Peacebloom alone was about 51 percent of the bill. Silverleaf was about 24 percent.
So when an alchemist decides whether a skill-up is cheap or expensive, the Peacebloom price is half the answer. That is why Peacebloom trades at three times its vendor price on the beta while Silverleaf trades at well under one and a half times. Same zones, same nodes, very different buyers.
| Herb | Vendor price | Beta scan on 2026-10-08 | Scan divided by vendor |
|---|---|---|---|
| Peacebloom | 10 copper | 30 copper | 3.0 |
| Silverleaf | 10 copper | 14 copper | 1.4 |
| Earthroot | 20 copper | 27 copper | 1.35 |
The same lens works on the products. Peace Tea had a reagent bill of 69 copper on that date and a scan of 3 silver44 copper, roughly five times its inputs. Elixir of Minor Spirit cost 99 copper to make and scanned at 2 silver90 copper. Elixir of Minor Defense, on the other hand, cost 59 copper and scanned at 5 copper, which is a pure skill-up with no market at all. Beta markets are thin, so treat these as signs of which products people actually want, not as margins you can bank.
New in Forever: the Incense Candle
Herbalism used to be a pure gathering skill. In the Forever client it gets its own small recipe list, and the first entry is
Incense Candle: one Peacebloom plus one Silverleaf, skill 20 to 25. Two more Herbalism recipes follow it later: Greenhouse at 140 to 145 (two Simple Wood, one Arthas' Tears, one Purple Lotus) and Seed Hybridizer at 300 (four Mountain Silversage, one Crystal Vial, two Runecloth).
These line up with the Camping feature Blizzard described for Forever: a Basic Campfire holds up to three crafted objects, one per player, on a one-hour cooldown. Mining has a matching Lodestone and Skinning a Camp Chair at the same 20 to 25 skill band. On the beta the Incense Candle scanned at 7 copper, which says players craft it for the skill point and drop it at camp, not to sell. For a gatherer that means one thing: the candle is a small, steady second use for Silverleaf, the herb that otherwise has the weakest demand.
Sell or craft: what to do with your bags
- Sell Silverleaf raw. It has the weakest demand and the thinnest recipe list. Post it in stacks; buyers are alchemists levelling past 50 who need a lot at once.
- Hold some Peacebloom. It is half the cost of the most common early elixirs, it feeds Peace Tea for cooks, and the first-hour Alchemy recipes eat it one at a time. A stack or two held for launch day is cheap insurance.
- Sell Earthroot after the first rush. Earthroot recipes stretch to skill 215 through Ogre Strength, so a second wave of buyers arrives later than the starter rush. You do not need to dump it on day one.
- Check the vendor floor before you post. If a scan drops near 10 copper for Peacebloom or Silverleaf, the Auction House is not worth the deposit. Hold and wait.
- Craft Peace Tea if you cook. It was the best-selling product made from starter herbs in the 2026-10-08 scan. If you have the recipe and spring water, it is the cleanest way to turn Peacebloom into silver.
Where the herbs grow
The beta client ships zone maps for most starting areas, shown below. In Classic Era, Peacebloom and Silverleaf grew in every starting zone and Earthroot hugged the hills and roadsides of the same zones. We have not logged a Forever herb session yet, so take this as the place to start looking rather than a confirmed node list.

Elwynn Forest: Eastern Kingdoms, Zone ID 12

On the Alliance side, Elwynn Forest and Dun Morogh are the first stops, and Teldrassil serves night elves. Expect every herbalist on the realm in these three zones during launch week. Herbs respawn, but so does competition.

Durotar: Kalimdor, Zone ID 14

On the Horde side, Durotar, Tirisfal Glades and Mulgore are the starting zones. Durotar is compact and busy; Tirisfal is spread out, which tends to thin the crowd.

Forever also adds Zephras Isle, the starting zone for the new Skyborne race. Blizzard lists it as one of the three new Forever zones. Our separate Zephras Isle guide covers what we know about it; nobody on our side has picked a herb there with a log running yet.

Not walked yet
No hourly gold figure is published here until this route has been walked end to end with a timer and a full loot log. Until then this page gives you the inputs (live prices and what drops) and leaves the arithmetic to you.
What to watch on the Auction House
Three things tell you where starter herbs are heading.
- The Peacebloom to Silverleaf gap. On the beta Peacebloom was about twice Silverleaf. If that gap widens at launch, alchemists and cooks are buying Peacebloom faster than herbalists bring it in. Hold.
- Peace Tea listings. If cooks start posting Peace Tea in volume, that is fresh Peacebloom demand that did not exist in Classic.
- Minor Healing Potion under First Aid. If that recipe stays in First Aid at launch, every character who trains First Aid becomes a Peacebloom buyer, not just alchemists. That could matter more than any new Alchemy recipe.
Is it worth your time?
Not as a primary money maker. Every price on this page is copper, and the beta economy resets at launch anyway. As practice, it is worth an evening. The beta shows which of the new recipes players actually craft, and the answer so far is that Peacebloom moved up the ladder while Silverleaf did not. At launch, the herbalist who knows that holds Peacebloom, sells Silverleaf early and lists Earthroot after the starter rush.
When the live economy opens, this page switches from beta scans to launch prices. Until a route has been walked and timed, there will be no hourly figure here, only the inputs: what each herb is worth and who is buying it.

How this guide was written
Prices on this page are read live from TheWoWDB Auction House tables when the page loads. Item names, icons, zones and art come from our own datamine of the game client. We do not publish gold-per-hour numbers for any route nobody has walked and timed, so where a rate would go this page says so. WoW Forever is in beta: every fact here is labelled with the client build it was read from and can change before launch. Read the full method or the about page.
