About the Marksmanship Hunter talent tree

The Marksmanship Hunter talent tree below is read straight from the current World of Warcraft client build. It is grouped the way the in-game talent UI presents it — the shared class talents, the Marksmanship specialization talents, and the hero talent trees this spec can choose from. Movement speed increased by 4%.

Disruptive Rounds1 point

When Muzzle interrupts a cast, gain 30 Focus.

Improved Feign Death2 ranks

The cooldown of Feign Death is reduced by 5 sec.

Misdirection1 point

Misdirects all threat you cause to the targeted party or raid member, beginning with your next attack within 30 sec and lasting for 8 sec.

Hurls a tar trap to the target location that creates a 8 yd radius pool of tar around itself for 30 sec when the first enemy approaches. All enemies have 50% reduced movement speed while in the area of effect. Limit 1. Trap will exist for 1 min.

Scare Beast1 point

Scares a beast, causing it to run in fear for up to 20 sec. Damage caused may interrupt the effect. Only one beast can be feared at a time.

Touch of Grass2 ranks

Your maximum health is increased by 5%.

Camouflage1 point

You and your pet blend into the surroundings and gain stealth for 1 min. While camouflaged, you will heal for 2% of maximum health every 1 sec sec.

No Hard Feelings1 point

When Misdirection targets your pet, it reduces the damage they take by 50% for 5 sec. The cooldown of Misdirection is reduced by 5 sec.

Improved Aspect of the Turtle1 point

The cooldown of Aspect of the Turtle is reduced by 30 sec.

Intimidation1 point

Your Spotting Eagle descends from the skies, stunning your target for 5 sec. Targets stunned by Intimidation deal 10% less damage to you for 8 sec after the effect ends. This ability does not require line of sight when used against players.

Improved Snaring1 point

Wing Clip slows an additional 25%. Concussive Shot slows an additional 10%.

Lone Survivor1 point

The duration of Survival of the Fittest is increased.1 sec.

Catlike Reflexes1 point

Aspect of the Cheetah's initial burst of speed is increased.1 sec.

Binding Shot1 point

Fires a magical projectile, tethering the enemy and any other enemies within 5 yds for 10 sec, stunning them for 3 sec if they move more than 5 yds from the arrow. Targets stunned by Binding Shot deal 10% less damage to you for 8 sec after the effect ends.

Your pet protects you at all times, reducing the damage you take by 3%. Your pet receives 100% of the damage it mitigates.

Unnatural Causes1 point

Your damage over time effects deal 10% increased damage. This effect is increased by 50% on targets below 20% health.

Aimed Shot1 point

A powerful aimed shot that critically strikes, dealing Physical damage.

Rapid Fire1 point

Shoot a stream of 7 shots at your target over 2 sec, dealing a total of Physical damage. Usable while moving. Each shot generates 3 Focus.

Precise Shots1 point

Aimed Shot causes your next Arcane Shot or Multi-Shot to deal 50% more damage and cost 60% less Focus. Precise Shots benefits Black Arrow's damage at 100% effectiveness.

Quick Draw1 point

Rapid Fire shoots 3 additional shots. Aimed Shot grants 50% increased movement speed for 2 sec, decaying rapidly over its duration.

Lock and Load1 point

Your ranged auto attacks have a 10% chance to trigger Lock and Load, causing your next Aimed Shot to cost no Focus and be instant.

Surging Shots1 point

Rapid Fire deals 35% additional damage, and Aimed Shot has a 15% chance to reset the cooldown of Rapid Fire.

Consuming Precise Shots reduces the cooldown of Aimed Shot by 2.2 sec.

Bulletstorm1 point

Damage from Rapid Fire increases the damage of Aimed Shot by 1% for 15 sec, stacking up to $389020u times. New stacks do not refresh duration and are removed upon casting Rapid Fire.

Tensile Bowstring1 point

Trueshot now also reduces the cast time of Aimed Shot by 40% and reduces the Focus cost of Aimed Shot by 60%.

Volley1 point

Rain a volley of arrows down over 6 sec, dealing up to Physical damage to any enemy in the area, and gain the effects of Trick Shots for as long as Volley is active.

When Surging Shots resets the cooldown of Rapid Fire, the damage of your next Rapid Fire is increased by 20%.

Windrunner Quiver1 point

Consuming Precise Shots has a 30% to grant Precise Shots. The damage bonus of Precise Shots is increased by an additional 15%.

Incendiary Ammunition1 point

Bulletstorm now increases your critical strike damage by 2%. Additionally, Bulletstorm now stacks 5 more times.

Double Tap1 point

Casting Trueshot or Volley grants Double Tap, causing your next Aimed Shot to fire again at 80% power, or your next Rapid Fire to fire 80% additional shots during its channel.
